Yellow

“Yellow” was not a common choice for the exam theme, but this student produced an excellent sketchbook and set of outcomes based on the film Kill Bill. They produced four separate outcomes during their 10-hour exam and achieved full marks.

The project demonstrates detailed and rigorous research and analysis, alongside high-quality drawing and experimentation. Notice how each element of the designs is experimented with separately — including pose, layout and typography — allowing each part to be refined before being brought together in the final outcomes.
